A Masterpiece 30 Years in the Making - Waterloo Medal: Allied Leaders | The Royal Mint

The Great Engravers Collection continues with a coin commemorating the obverse design created by Benedetto Pistrucci for the spectacular Waterloo Medal - a numismatic masterpiece.
Although it was never physically struck, the tools for the medal were preserved and are currently held in The Royal Mint Museum. Using Pistrucci’s original tooling alongside modern techniques, we have struck the obverse design of his medallic masterpiece onto the reverse of this 2024-dated coin.

I have the full set of the first issue 1923 South Africa 10 coins set. I believe it is the only surviving “full set”. With proof that all coins are belong to the same single set. Coins are graded 64-67. Well done me 👌
